DISARMAMENT DEBATE.
JUNIOR CHAMBER OF COMMERCE. A debate was held last evening under the auspices of the Junior Chamber of Commerce on the subject "that a major power .would not suffer either commercially or politically if she were to disarm completely." The affirmative was' taken by ilesers. A; M. Doiill and R. McK.' 'Jeffrey,' and' the' negative by Messrs. J. H. Clark and C. H. Battley. On a vote the decision favoured the negative." ~
