MANUKAU CLUB. \ The annual meeting of the newly-formed Manukau League Club was held in tho Onehunga Ex-Sprvicempn's Club on Thursday evening. Mr. W. J. Hamill. representing the New Zealand Council, presided over a large attendance. The secretary read a lengthy rpport upon the work "done hv the organising committee during the offseason and reported very bricht prospects ! for the future of the club. The accounts ■ disclosed a credit of £11 4/3. j Officers elected :—Patron. Mr. W. .T. I Jordan, M.P.; president, Mr. P. Murray: vice-presidents, re-election of all former ' vice-presidents, with the addition of Messrs. Leatnerby, Warrington, Lenahan. L. Hanion and Warrington ; treasurer, Mr. S. H. Banford; auditors, Messrs. F. Claydon and P. Guppy; club captain, Mr. Percy Lips- I combe; secretary, Mr. H. Kemp. I
