AKARANA YACHT CLUB.
The Akarana Yacht Club will hold its "cup" day on Saturday, March 18, when rnees will be held for the keel class for the club cup, H, L and N class for thu White-Lidgard Cup, 11, V and S class for the Heolin Cup, X, T and Y class for club cup, and Ailsa Craig Cup for motor boats. Races for the seven-footers and naval whalers will be held and the inter-club contest for the Trevic Shield between boats of the Taknpuna one-design class. An "At Home" will be held in the clubhouse, concluding with a dunce in the evening.
