AUSTRALIA AND N.Z. Federal Minister to Visit Dominion. DESIRE FOR REVISION. (Received 2.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, this day. The Commonwealth Government, reversing its decision made earlier in the week, announced to-day that Mr. W. Massy Greene, Assistant Minister and member of the Senate, will go to New Zealand on a trade mission and to endeavour to have the fruit embargo lifted. Mr. Greene possesses an extensive knowledge of trade matters. He is able to go to the Dominion owing to the Senate not meeting immediately. He will sail on March IC.
Mr. W. Massy Greene.
The "Daily Telegraph" Canberra correspondent sp.ys that an important revision of the trade relations between Australia and New Zealand is expected to follow Mr. Greene's visit to the Dominion. Under the trade agreement of 1922 the Dominion has distinct advantages, especially in live stock and fish, which are admitted duty free.
