A BATSMAN'S PARADISE. (Received 2.30 p.m.) BRISBANE, this day. The weather is fine hut warmer for the England-Queensland cricket match. The wicket is still a batsman's paradise and the attendance is satisfactory. The Test wicket is unaffected by reason of the fact that it has not been covered since yesterday. * In reply to Queensland's total of 201, England has lost nine wickets for 315 (Ames 53 not out, Larwood, c Litster, b Go van, 1). The .crowd numbers 4000, and is increasing.
