ALLEGED THEFT OF RING.
— • YOUNG MAN REMANDED. Arrested by Detective Mahood on Saturday, Eric Ernest Tyrell, aged 19, traveller, appeared in the Police Court this morning charged with stealing a gold ring valued at £1 10/, belonging to Dorothy Frances Butler, on January 13. In obtaining a remand until February 13, Detective-Sergeant Kelly said tha't a further charge would probably be brought against Tyrell. Accused, for whom Mr. Moody appeared, was allowed bail in one surety of £100 and was ordered to report daily to the police.
