HOLLYWOOD FILM STARS.
LOS ANGELES, February 2.
Fifteen well-known Hollywood actors and actresses are being expelled from the United States bccause they * are aliens.
Constance Bennett's husband, the Marquise do la Falaise, has "got his walking papers."
Others who are being deported include Fifi d'Orsay, a Canadian; Lily Damita, the French actress; and two well-known Englishmen, Leslie Howard and Frank
Federal agents entered a private home while a dance was in process, interrupted the Australian scenario writer, John Farrow, as he was dancing with the South American filrii star, Mona Marquis, and took him into custody on a charge of overstaying his permit to remain in this country. Later he was released on £500 bail.
It is understood that the arrest was made bccause of complaints regarding moral turpitude in connection with which several screen celebrities are likely to be questioned.
