George Edwards, aged 20, an apprentice, had the fingers of his left hand lacerated at 8.30 this morning when he was operating a ewing cross-saw. The bone of one finger was almost severed. Edwards, who lives at Wallingford Street, Grey Lynn, was taken., to the Auckland Hospital.
