POVERTY BAY VALUES. (By Telegraph.—Special to "Star.") GISBORKE, this day. At the Gisborne sale fat sheep were a large entry, and a few pence easier. Ewes, 6/3 to 6/10; wethers, 12/7 to 13/2; lambs, 9/10 to 12/3; second grade ewes, 5/11 to 6/1 Beef was easier. Good cows were passed at' 50/, heifers 45/. Store sheep: \n entrv of 10,500, including many good station lines. Values for breeding ewes werfe maintained. Ewes, sound-mouth 5/6 to 15/3- five-year, extra good, 9/1; good, 8/2 to 8/5; fairly good, 6/11 to 7/6; fo«v-year 1 fats, 8/; four-tooths, quality, 10/11; fairly j:ood, 8/2;' two-tooths, good, 10/6 to 11/3; mixed ages, 7/6 to 9/1; lambs, best woolly, 7/7; shorn, 7/4; Downs, fat and forward, 0/3; good, 7/; wethers, fresh condition, 10/5; fair sort#, 8/2 to 8/7.
