DOMAIN MATCHES.

BOWLERS TAKE CHARGE. WINS TO MOUNT ALBERT, HARBOUR BOARD AND GREEN LANE. Conditions at the Domain 011 Saturday for the completion of the Auckland Citj' and Suburban Association's sixth series of matches, which mark the opening of tne second round, were in sharp contrast to those of the previous week-end, and play was correspondingly altered. Pitches heavy and soon cutting up, favoured the bowlers. The big surprise was Mount Albert s mastery of the present competition leaders. R.V., who were able to carry their total from 16 runs to only 80 runs and had to follow on. The Old Boys' had notched 193 runs. They had a victory, three wickets short of a six-pointer. Harbour Board gained a four-pointer by 30 runs lead on Ponsonby, and Green Lane had no difficulty in disposing of Invicta twice for a total of 164 runs in reply to an innings of 189 runs.
