There is more talk in Wellington city than in the Parliamentary lobbies about the formation of a new City party but it is known that Mr. Downie Stewart is being inundated with reqv.es'« from all over the Dominion to take positive action to weld together city inte.oi-ts in the House. Mr, Stewart himself has 110 statement to make on the matter. When approached this afternoon, he su:.lingly indicated that he did not wish to discuss the question. It is understood, however, that professional and business interests I in Wellington intend to app oa.-.n the [ ex-Finance Minister in an organised way 1 before the session ends.
