KINDERGARTEN WORK.
SECOND CARNEGIE FELLOWSHIP.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Wednesday. The president of the Free Kindergarten Union of New Zealand, Lady Sidey, has received the following cablegram from the Carnegie Corporation of New York: "The sum of £500 is available for a second and final Kindergarten Fellowship."
The first Carnegie Kindergarten Fellowship was made available to New Zealand last year. The £500 grant was made to enable a New Zealand student to visit the United States for advanced training in kindergarten work. Miss E. Scott, of Taranaki Street Free Kindergarten, "Wellington, was selected after an examination in Wellington.
