VANCOUVER, January 23,

Declaring that the British Columbia coal industry is seriously threatened the Canadian collieries of British Columbia are protesting to the Government against the importation of British bituminous coal. Colonel C. W. Villiers, director, charges dumping despite the fact that Canada had agreed to absorb 1,000,000 tons of anthracite yearly to displace foreign anthracite.
