The Japanese Prime Minister, Admiral Yiscount Saito, has issued a warning to the Government and people of China against unfortunate eventualities "which might arise from what he described as the "invasion of the Jehol province by Chinese troops" and the "positive anti-Japanese movement." The Minister spoke in the Japanese Diet and the text of his remarks was made public by the Japanese Embassy iii Washington. A statement was made by the Minister of Finance in the Diet in which he estimated the ordinary revenue at 1,289,000,000 yen (£128,900,000 at par) and extraordinary revenue at 95,000,000 yen. The extraordinary revenue will be mostly required for the costs of Manchukuo, beside the increases due to currcncy depreciation.
