MODEL YACHTING.

POXSOXBY CLUB. The Ponsonby Model Yacht Club resumed its fortnightly races during the week-end. Five races v.ere sailed in a light breeze from the -west. The racing, attracted a number of spectators and the finishes were ciose and interesting. Results :— Four-foot Handicap.—lrene, L. Pohlen, 3h 22m 40s, 1 ; Clara, H. Murphy, oh 23m 20s, 2; Bullet, T. Wilkinson starter and timekeeper. ORAKEI CLUB. The Orakci Basin Model Yacht Club, held a. series of races for model yachts on Saturday afternoon. The results were :— Final Triangular Course Race. —Comet, R. McKay, 1; Rangi, E. Cole, 2 ; Ariki, C.' Olliff, 3. » Straight Course Race (15 starters). —Tui 8., J. Davis, 1 ; Koliinoor, W. Grayson, 2 ; Rangi, E. Cole, 3. .Triangular Course Racc. —First heat: Comet 1, lorangi 2, Koliinoor 3. Second heat: Enterprise 1, Ariki 2, Twilight 3. Final : Enterprise, K. McDonald, 1; Ariki, W. Olliff, 2; Twilight, X. Beetson, 3. WAKATERE CANOE CLUB. ■ The Wakatere Canoe Club held a race during the weefceud over three rounds of a short course, starting off Narrow Xeck at 3. p.m. The finishing times were:—Waiata, 4h 11m 20s; AVaiiuea, 4h 13m 30s; AVahene, 4h 14m; Wanderlust, 4h 15m 30s; White Wings, 4h 16m 30s. Result: Waiata 1, Waimea 2, AVahene 3. ANNIVERSARY REGATTA. A meeting of the Anniversary Regatta: Committee will be held this evening in the Flying Angel Missions Hall, Sturdee Street, when all arrangements for Monday next will be reviewed. Mr. Ernest Davis will report on the position of the flagship. (H.M.s. Dunedin), transport facilities will be decided and all sub-committees' reports finalised.
