FLIGHTS OVER WANG-AN UX (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WANGANUI, this day. The flight of the Southern Cross from Hastings occupied 70 minutes. Thyre was delay at the start owing to the weather conditions, but the trip over was smooth. Ideal conditions were experienced for landing. The 'plane glided into the Wanganui airport in the presence of several thousands of people, who were also assembled for the motor boat regatta. After a welcome by the Mayor, Mr. N. G. Armstrong, Mr. H. M. Keesing. on behalf of-the returned soldiers, and Mr. A. S. Burgess, president of the Aero Club, the Southern Cross made several flights over the city before lunch.
