CYCLAMEN.

These are unsurpassed when in full bloom during the -winter, and the plants must be grown with care to get the best results. They resent too hot a situation. Splendid results are obtained by growing them in a cold frame with a southern aspect. Give plenty of airt in the daytime and shade from the bright sun. Syringe the plants late in the afternoon and remove the lights entirely in the evening, as cyclamen derive much benefit from the dew at night from now onwards. The lights are put; on in the morning. Now that the plants are well established in their flowering pots, weak liquid cow manure and soot water may be given with advantage once a week, but give water only when it is actually needed. Any flowers that are thrown up prematurely should be removed.
