MORE STUDENTS IN PARIS.
Enrolment at tlic University of Paris, '.ated as the largest University in the •world, increased last year by nearly iO'JO students. The total registration io:c from 31,886 in 1931 to 33,821 for past session.
This increase is due to the greater number of French students admitted, for the number of foreigners enrolled has declined, in 1931 there were 7751 foreigners and last year 7504. The nuinlof foreign medical students, however, increased from 2220 to 2332.
In 1931 there were 8487 women studci.its; last year there were 9252. These vomcn students are enrolled in nearly f.i the courses, including law, medical, l'lufrhiacy, science and'literature.
