CAR OVERTURNS.
TITIRANGI MISHAP. FIVE WOMEN OCCUPANTS. ONE SERIOUSLY INJURED. Mrs. N. Sainty, ail elderly -woman, of GS, Olcl Mill Road, Grey Lynn, received serious injuries about one o'clock to-day, when a party of five ladies in a light roadster car met with an accident when descending the hill road to the beacli at Titirangi. The grade is fairly steep, and it is stated that the brakes failed to hold and the vehicle careered down the hill, eventually hitting the bank and overturning. The St. John Ambulance brought Mrs. Sainty to the hospital, and she regained consciousness on the journey. The other occupants of the ca.r escaped with a shaking and bruises.
