ENGLAND'S WIN. AUSTRALIA OUT FOR 193. WOODFULL CARRIES HIS BAT. (United P.A.— Electric Telegraph—Copyright) ADELAIDE, January 19. The third cricket Test match England v Australia ended to-day at Adelaide in a decisive win for the visitors by 338 runs. There were barely 5000 spectator?. The weather was sultry when play was resumed and the wicket liad worn splendidly. Larwood opened the bowling with an off field. Woodfull, who had made 36 not out, reached 41 with a jicat hit to square leg, making ten runs off the Notts bowler's first two overs. Allen was bowling consistently well. Larwood now massed a leg field. Richardson, swinging safely, hit a four and also a crisp four past point off Allen's iie*t over. Verity went on at 148. He lcept a faultless length and Woodfull had to play every ball.

Hammond was called on, and Woodfull reached 51 with a superlative shot -to mid-on. Verity perturbed Ricliard6on one hall flying over the stumps for a bye. The South Australian reached 21 and then fell to Larwood's leg trap, Allen taking a low catcli. Larwood had now taken three wickcts for 50- He had a circle of five men round Richardson. Woodfull was cautious of the trap. Partnered by Grinimett, the Australian captain hit a three to mid-on, then lost the slow bowleiyAUen knocking down his leg stump. Allen had taken two wickets for 45. Wall lasted only five balls from Allen and was clean bowled. Woodfull, now accompanied by O'Reilly, went to 08 with a fine leg glance. O'Reilly hit one from Larwood past the covers for four! It was liis last stroke, Larwood getting his leg stump. Ironmonger had a short reign, Allen clean howling liim.
