OWNERS FIGHT FLAMES.

■ — ■ — FIRE AT MOUNT ROSKILL. As a result of an outbreak of lire in the rear of a fi v c-roonied wooden hou.-c at 137, Mount Albert Road, Mount Knr-.-kill, on Saturday, extensive was done to a sun porch, a kitchenette and an attached washhouse. The Mount Roskill brigado was called and made a good save. The fire was caused by a spark from the copper in the washhouse. An attempt to-suppress the flames before the brigado arrived was made by Mr. and ' Mrs. R; E. Skinner, owners and occupiers of the house, who were slightly burned.
