WOMAN MUST DIE.
MURDERESS , APPEAL REJECTED VANCOUVER, December 16. By rejecting her appeal, the Arizona Supreme Court has decreed that copperhaired Winnie Ruth Judd, who shot two women friends in October, 1931, must die on the gallows. The defence invoked the "irresistible impulse" theory, but the three judges replied: "We cannot recognise tMs doctrine as a true test of insanity."
