CHICAGO BANK BANDITS. CHICAGO, December 7. In the early hours of yesterday morning five armed bandits held up a mail carrier with a guard and escaped with registered mail of a face value of more | than 1,000,000 dollars, including cheques | and securities. The amount negotiable is not known, but it is believed to be comparatively small. The robbery occurred within 100 ft of a Government j post office. I
