Termination of Operations in Manchuli. CONTROL OF HARBIN RAILWAY. TOKYO, December 7. The Japanese Cabinet met yesterday when the Minister of War, General Araki, reported the successful termination of the Manchuli operations. The Minister said he was confident that Japan and Manchukuo would work in the closest co-operation with the Soviet authorities to maintain peace in the Far East. A Shanghai message states that as the result of a surprisingly swift movement along the Chinese Eastern Railway the Japanese now control the line from Harbin to Manchuli.
