It does seem a pity that the excellent talent displayed at the last two speedway meetings by the English riders should have been witnessed by such small crowds. Furthermore, it does not seem fair to expect the rideis _ to give of their best when only 2000 attend; .ftand yet I fail to see how any more can attend, or will attend unless the Speedway authorities wake up and reduce the price to l/> wlucli is more easily afforded by the majority these hard times, and consequently will permit thon-ji// sands more to go and appreciate week bjiesit weak the most thrilling of sports. After alozai 10.000 or more patrons at 1/ is more aeegp-nc' table than 2000 at 1/0. Give it a go, Nothing ventured, nothing won. LAST ONE AND SIX.
