NORTH OTAGO VICTORIOUS. HAWKE'S BAY BADLY BEATEN. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) OAMARU, Wednesday. Tho cricket match between the Hawke's Bay touring team and North Otago was concluded to-day, North Otago winning by an innings nnd two runs. North Otago continued its first innings from yesterday, when it had lost three wickets for 67 runs, and, thanks largely to Zimmerman, 145 not out, supported by McDonald, 61, compiled 316 runs. The tourists in their second innings were dismissed for 112, the bowling of Zimmerman (four for 88) and Smith (fivo for 37) proving successful. GOLF. AUCKLAND LADIES' GOLF CLUB.
