TIGERISM BEATS CHOPIN. ROYAL BENGAL'S SPRINT. WINNING JOCKEY SUSPENDED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WOODVILLE, Wednesday. The first day of the Woodville Jockey Club's summer meeting was lield in fine weather and attracted a fair attendance. The track was in perfect order. The totalisator staff handled £5506, compared with £7518 on the first day last year, a decrease of £2012. An inquiry was held into alleged interference with Royal Hunting by Royal Bengal during the running of the Oete Handicap. P. Atkins, rider of Royal Bengal, was held to have come over on Royal Hunting and was suspended for 14 days for careless riding. Later results: —

HP. (Fapakura). — Tigerism was scratched for the St. Andrew s Handicap at Feilding at 11.45 a.m. on the day of the race. ARGUMENT (Grey Lynn).—Diatomons and Bon Kapide were bracketed in the Nursery Handicap at Woodville yesterday, but the former did not start.
