HILL TOP SCHOOL.
Yesterday afternoon aii interesting: exhibition of arte, li.fi.qdi work, and arranging of bowls of flojversj ;was given at St. Sepulchre's Hall,'Burleigh Street, by the staff and'girls of the' Hill Top School,, of which Mifcs Phyllis Boult is the principal. The work r bh. exhibition was much admjred, especially a map of the. Xorth and South Island,' a pointed production ■ showing the foliage and natural landscape of tlie province. Good work was done on some 'of ,tlie poster exhibits, • particularly the lcauri forest and the Symonds Street windmill. The prize winners for. the best floral decorations were': Elaine Court 1, D. Metcalfe 2, Zoe Rhind 3, and highly commended, Jean Crothers. 'The fancy ''work and the art displays comprised the work of children from five 'to 16 years, and showed good training.
