LONDON WOOL SALES. LONDON, December 6. At the wool sales 9849 bales were offered, including 4544 New Zealand. About 6700 were sold; Home and Continental buyers were operating at full rates. There were some withdrawals, due to high limits. Compared with October closing, fine greasy Merinos were par to 5 per cent higher; medium, par; inferior, 5 per cent lower; fine greasy crossbrec.:, 5 per cent higher; inferior, 5 per cent lower; slipes, fine par, low 5 to 10 per cent cheaper.
