TRADE SECRETS.
POSITION OF TOBACCO CO. In regard to the statement published in theee columns concerning the affairs of the National Tobacco Company, to the effect that Mr. Husheer has reserved to himeelf complete ownership of all trade secrets, a representative of the company informe us that this does not accurately state the position. He states that the secrets are the property of the company, and as such are deposited in writing in safe custody under seal. For reasons, which he considers are obvious, the knowledge of these processes or formulae is solely confined to the manufacturer for the company for the time being, the incumbent of that office at the present time being Mr. Hu.sheer. In the event of Mr. Husheer's decease or incapacity the company is amply safeguarded in its continued ownership.
