ST. CUTHBERT'S COLLEGE. Yesterday afternoon, in the final of the lawn tennis championship at the St. Cutiibert's College, Rona Drake defeated Joyce Ureuiei, 6— i, 6—12.

CAMBRIDGE COMPETITIONS.

Tbo Cambridge Sub-.Vssoeintion's A grade competition was finalised. when Cambridge X 0.3 beat Fonconrt by 10 sets (124 games) to (5 sets (109 games). In the B grade, which Is also a knockout, Trinity and Hautapu A will meet.

VICTORIAN CHAMPIONSHIP.

MELBOURNE, December 6. The Victorian tennis championships, at which the United States players are competing, had to be postponed to-day owing to heavy rain.

KAIPARA SUB-ASSOCIATION.

The first lawn tennis matches for the season of the Kaipara Sub-Association were played on Saturday. The results of the match between Kumeu and Kaukapakapa resulted in a win for Kumeu. The details are ns follow, Kumeu players being mentioned first: — Men's Singles.—A. Giles beat H. Belllngham, 9—6 ; W. Brown lost to A. Dye, 3—9; G. Orme beat P. Mortensen, O —8; J.
