HEALTH POSTAGE STAMPS.
The extra revenue derived from the sale of the special health sta aps at all post offices throughout New -.saiand is to be devoted to assisting the organisers of health camps for weakly and under-nourished children, with particular attention to boys and girls from the families of the unemployed. As there are still no health camp organisations in many districts, the amounts contributed in those districts are being saved for them. The children invited to the camps are selected by school medical officers and Health Department nurses on their own observations, or on the recommendation of medical practitioners. This ensures that the children who go to the camps are those whose need is greatest.
