NORTHCOTE EX-SOLDIERS.
The executive of the Northcote R.S.A. Club met on Friday evening last, when the final arrangements for the Christmas Tree for the children of ex-servicemen was left in the hands of the hon. secretary, Mr. J. F. Jackson, and a committee ot ladies. Pleasure was expressed at the patronage accorded by residents to various social functions in the club rooms. Ihe question of unemployed ex-servicemen being sent to camps was mentioned. It was decided that this should be fully discussed at a general meeting later on, and, in the meantime, the action of the Auckland R.S.A. in the matter was endorsed.
