In a one-mile race the limit men kept the scratch markers busy, winning by a small margin. Kesults:—■ One Mile.—A. Lander (200 yds) 1, E. Wilson (190 yds) 2, K. Hurlaml (100 yds) 3. Time 2.24. One Mile ana a Iliilf.—D. Ahorliart (70yds) 1, G. Green (00yds) U, J. Wliittcn (sir) 3. Time 3.40. Ladies' Race, Hair Mile.—Miss A. Cartwright (scr) 1, .Miss A. Wilson (scr) 2. Time 1.33. Boys' Race, Half Jlilc. —D. Brown (scr) 1, W. Green (syds) 2. A 100 yards running event was also held, the result being: J. Grose (14yds) 1. J K. Pyne (13yds) 2, L. Grose (Ojds) 3.
