TUBERCULOSIS.
REV. E. WARD'S CLAIMS. CLINIC IN LOS ANGELES. Well pleasefl witn. the success of ihis mission, the Rev. Edgar "Ward returned to Auckland from California this morning iby the Monterey. Some months ago, as the result of inquiry by. American doctors, he went to the United States to spread knowledge ihe ihae gained in his study of tuberculosis and asthma.
While in New Zealand Mr. Ward claimed he had found a cure for both diseases, and ihe said to-day that medical opinion in America so favoured! his prescription that a clinic had been eet up in Los. Angeles, with others i,o follow in San Francisco, Denver and Sacramento. "For 18 months before I made the trip," said Mr. Ward, "I was in touch with the American doctors. They experimented and experimented with my cure before they satisfied themselves that it was worth while taking , it up—but they gave it a fa'r trial. Finally they decided in favour of it, and clinics are now rn established fact. As I said, they have been set up with unlimited capital behind them, and it is hoped to establish them, throughout America."
