NEW CAVE DISCOVERED.

A marvellous cave, rivalling in beauty the famous Blue Grotto in ,C;ipn, ««" been discovered by chance on the coast of Anialfi, not far "from Cape Conca, ea?3 a message from Rome. The now protto, which has. not yet been completely explored, is about 200 feet long by 100 ten wide. .

The liaht filtering into the «ue through the water is tinged wjtt * marvellous azure colour, similar to tW* of the Blue Grotto of Capri. The cave k> filled with stalactites.of great beautj. The Blue Grotto in .Capri can l>e entered by boat, a* it communicates with the sea by means of a low ana narrow channel,* which just permits tne passage of a small rowboat. The cave near Amalfi, instead, can be cnteic only on foot by means of two holes wen above the surface of the water.
