CARE IN COLLISION.
VERANDAH POST DAMAGED,
The Greenlane and Manukau Road corner was the scene of a minor collision between two motor cars this morning. One was crossing Manukau Road into Alba Road, opposite Greenlane, and the other was city-bound on Manukau Road. The latter vehicle turned into Alba Road, in an effort to avoid accident, but struck the other car a Bevere blow on the running board. This forced it against a light telegraph post alongside the grocer's shop on the corner. The post was uprooted and forced back against the building, but apart from carrying away a verandah post no structural damage was done to the building. Both i the cars suffered minor damage, but the loecnpante were unhurt.
