BAND CONTEST.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) DUNEDIN, this day. Prospects are encouraging for the band contest which is to be held in Dunedin in February. Entries already received from all parts of the Dominion are more numerous than those received for the last contest, which was held in Dunedin two years ago. The contest will extend over seven days, and the prize-money amounts to over £1000.
