A waterside worker, Mr. S. O'Shea, aged about 40, injured his back yesterday when he was loading 6acks of potatoes on to the Northern Company's steamer Toa. He was taken by the St. John Ambulance to the Auckland Hospital and received treatment in the casualty ward. He resides at 16, Chap- , man Street, Newton.
