BODIES FOUND.
MISSING FISHERMEN.
FLOATING NEAR NORTHCOTE.
The tody of Mr. Christopher King, aged 58, a married man with a wife and three children, of Vermont Street, Ponsonby, was found floating near the Northcote wharf yesterday afternoon. In company with Mr. Roy Goldwater, aged 23, of Victoria Crescent, Newmarket, Mr. King left Auckland last Saturday morning on a fishing trip to the upper reaches of the Waitemata in the 12-foot open boat Biddy.
On Sunday morning the boat -was found floating upside down in Little Shoal Bay. Wreckage, consisting of a mast, boom, and jib sail, with fishing lines entangled in the rigging, was found on Tuesday. It was presumed that the boat had been caught in a squall. • ,
Shortly after noon to-day a second body believed to be that of Mr. Goldwater, was found floating near Point Chevalier.
