DOCTOR ROBBED.
BURGLAR ' IN BEDROOM.
EARLY MORNING- DISCOVERY.
MAN ESCAPES HURRIEDLY.
An audacious burglar entered the home of Dr. E. H. Bryant, 139, Great South' Road, at an early hour this morning and stole £14 10/ in notes from the doctor's coat in his bedroom while he was asleep.
At 4 a.m. Dr. Bryant was awakened, and discovered a young man standing near his bed. He immediately dashed into the passage and out of the front door, before the doctor had time to get out of bed.
Entrance was gained by a side door, which was not locked. Unfortunately the whole incident happened too quickly for Dr. Bryant to obtain a good description of the thief.
