ISLAND CUSTOMS SYSTEM.
(Received 12.30 p.m.) SUVA, this day. There is some indignation in local commercial circles at the Governor's order that the Customs must take exchange into account in assessing the import 'duties. One effect of the innovation is that it penalises Britain and New Zealand as against Australia*.
