THE WITCH DOCTOR.
TYPE OF QUERIES.
FUTURE POLICY OUTLINED.
The queries column conducted by the Witch Doctor was originally instituted with the idea of providing answers to the every-day questions that puzzle children. Many of the questions received lately have been of a type that is not consistent with this and tend to turn the column into a general service bureau of little interest, and it is doubtful if some of the information that is asked i» of much value to the contributor when it is supplied. We realise that questions relating to postage stamps have a wide interest, and in future will publish all stamp queries in a separate column once a month. The average heights and weights of boys and girls have been asked for on many occasions. For the benefit of those interested a table of average heights and weights of human beings up to the age of 21 will be given elsewhere in this issue, and in future questions of this nature will not be answered. After this date we will no longer answer all questions submitted, but w:!l reply only to those which we consider of sufficient interest to warrant space in these pages. THE EDITOR.
