"MUSIC OF THE DISC."

One of thp finest recordings made by Columbia for some time is the famous Beethoven Violin Concerto in D Major, played by Josef Szigeti, with the Koyal Philharmonic Orchestra, under Bruno Walter. Mr. Szigeti himself -strongly advised the writer to procure this recording, adding that Professor Bernard Heinze, of' Melbourne, had told him that it was the purest example of violin tone he had ever heard. Those of us who heard this noble work played by the great artist in the Town Hall, with piano accompaniment only, will look forward to hearing these records on which a famous orchestra is associated with the soloist. The numbers of records which are contained in an art album, are LOX 167-171.

For those who want something light and popular and up-to-date, Regal has recorded on G21415 the hits from the latest musical comedy, "Sunshine Susie," sung by the artists in the original cast.
