(Br Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLIXGT 02s", Friday. Leave to apply to tlie Appeal Court tor a new trial was granted by the Chief Justice. Sir Michael Myers, to-day to Walter Clifton Anderson, aged 49. engineer, who had been convicted of indecently assaulting two little girls at Miramar. The ground of the application was that the verdict of the jury was against the weight of evidence.
