BOARD OF CONTROL.
MECHANICAL COURSING. (Received 11 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. The mechanical cou?sing clubs have appointed a board of seven members to control the sport on lines similar to the Australian Jockey Club in racing matters. The members will be elected permanently, vacancies being filled by the remaining members. Thus the clube have no control over the board, which comprises Messrs. William Brooks, M.L.C-, E. Lloyd Jones, Robert Walder, Joseph M. Seerey, Sidney Longworth, and Thomas Hogan.
