DRINK WHOLE TROUBLE.
MAN THREATENS WIFE.
PROHIBITION ORDER BROKEN.
Charged with procuring liquor during the currency of a prohibition order, Donald Oscar Temple, carpenter, aged 26, appeared in the Police. Court this moraine before Mr. W. R. McKean, S.M. Accused had been. prohibited on January 4. He pleaded guilty. 'Detective-Sergeant Kelly eaid that in October a constable had been called to a house where accused, while drunk, was behaving in a threatening manner to his wife. Ho also took £20 that she had saved.. Drink was the whole trouble. Accused said he did not remember the offence. He was convicted and discharged on the condition that he gave an assurance to keep away from his wife.
