LEARNING TO BE USEFUL.—Owing to the lack of employment for boy* and girl* leaving school, many pupils of the Kowhai Junior High School have been permitted *o remain at the school an extra year, lome of the girls were found at work this morning in the sunshine pursuing various courses which will be useful to them in later life.
