BORROWING STATISTICS.
NEW CAPITAL ISSUES. (Received 12.30 p.m.) RUGBY, November 1. According to statistics compiled by the Midland Bank new capital issues for the last month, excluding all borrowings by the British Government for purely financial purposes, amounts to £19,745,000 as against £2,483,000 for the same month last year, making the total for the 10 months to October 31, 1932, £97,919,000, as against £81,565,000 for the corresponding 10 months of 1931.
