MOTUROA OILFIELDS.
Drilling operations at the site of the third well to he eunk by Moturoa Oilfields, Ltd., at New Plymouth, are to be commenced next week. The derrick has been erected near the foreshore, a little nearer New Plymouth than the No. 2 well. The report of the company for the week ended October: 29 states that No. 2 well produced 120 barrels (4200 gallons) of oil. The total production to date is 275.654 imperial gallons.
